Are you facing the problem to make the temp and logs folder writable? After changing the permission of logs and temp folder, it still show as unwritable in the system info of joomla backend ?
This problem is due to the absolute path of the temp and logs folder. If you haven't given the correct absolute path, then this problem may exist.
To solve this, please follow the below instruction.
* To find the correct absolute path, Login into the control panel and right click one of the file and say code edit.
* It ll open a editor window where you can able to edit the code. At the left top of the window, it displays the absolute path of your file. Copy that and give the correct URL for temp and logs folder.
* For eg, the file absolute URL is /home/site/public_html/configuration.php, then the temp folder absolute path is /home/site/public_html/temp and the log folder path will be /home/site/public_html/logs.
* This will solve the problem and you can install all the extensions.
